Mitzvah Day 2018

As communities around the UK geared up to take part in Mitzvah Day 2018 – the country’ s biggest multi faith day of social action – here at Sobell Rhodes we hosted a collection of warm winter clothes and non-perishable foods for New Hope.  New Hope in Watford exists to serve individuals who are homeless or vulnerably- housed through the provision of accommodation and opportunities to transform lives.  They provide practical support such as food, shelter, clothing, health care and training as well as building relationships and caring.

We are very proud to announce that our team made a fantastic contribution of over 30 sacks full!

Mitzvah Day is a Jewish led day of social action that brings thousands of people together of all faiths and all ages, to give their time to make a difference to the local community around them.

Making an impact on the local community is at the heart of Sobell Rhodes and we don’t think that anyone in our community should have to face being homeless or going hungry.
